Have just returned home after a wonderful week staying at Belvanjos. Henry and Mary Anne are excellent hosts, they really went out of their way to make me feel welcome and gave me lots of tips and advice to make my stay in Malta more comfortable. Henry picked me up from the airport, and gave me a mini-tour of Marsascala on the way back, which was very helpful. The buses, run by Arriva, are not always exactly on time, but they're an easy way to get around, and cheap; a week ticket costs only 12 euro. Malta and its people, places and food are all lovely, this was my first visit but I will definitely be returning :) Alyson
We returned from Malta in August. Staying with Henry and Maryanne was a fantastic experience. We were welcomed from the moment Henry picked us up at the airport. They were both the most hospitable hosts, nothing was ever too much trouble. They 'knew' all about Malta, advised us on the best places to go (and those to avoid!) We felt part of a community that really cared for us. We feel that our stay in Malta was one of, if not the best, holidays we have ever been on. And we have been all over the world. Belvanjos was a super place to stay at. Always spotlessly clean and they served the best breakfasts!! The Maltese bread is a must and the fresh fruit is delicious. It leaves our UK offerings in the shade!! We do hope to revisit Henry and Maryanne before much longer. Malta is a place that grabs you and doesn't want to let go. Neither of us wanted to come home. We could really recommend Belvanjos with the Grimas as a holiday destination. christina and kevin bullock
